Here is a twenty-six week devotional based on studying the names of God. A pronunciation guide to the names is found at the beginning of this book. The introduction explains the book’s plan.

This devotional covers Monday through Friday for the twenty-six weeks. Monday is dedicated to learning the name, reading scripture using that particular name for God, as well as background information and a Bible study.

Tuesday through Thursday includes passages using the name you are studying for the week. You are encouraged to pray using these scriptures. On Friday, you are encouraged to reflect on the scriptural promises and that’s week name for God. Friday’s devotion concludes with several suggested passages for further study.

Recommendation

This devotional is most suited for someone ready for in-depth Bible study. I enjoyed reading through several of the studies and plan to use it for future Bible study or perhaps, with a small group of women. I strongly suggest using the Praying the Names of God Journal in connection with a small group study.
