Becoming the Woman I want to Be

I received this review copy back in 2004. After skimming it to get a good idea as to what was contained in it, a close friend and I spent several weeks working through the weekly studies.
This 13 week study included 90 daily lessons. Each lesson began with a memory scripture, passage to read and a guided prayer. Then you were asked to write your own prayer, recite a positive affirmation (usually based on scripture), and to take specific actions. Some tips for an attitude adjustment, suggestions for changes in diet and exercise.
Although the lessons were valuable, both my friend and I found it impossible to keep up with it daily. After a few weeks, we fizzled out as some changes in both our lives occurred.
Recommendation
I do not recommend this book for group study. It is much more appropriate for you to complete with just the help of the Holy Spirit.
